Solar Photovoltaic power generation is based on proven technology. Power is not produced through a complex mechanical process, its generated through the passive interaction of silicon elements within solar panels and the suns radiant energy. As a result, panel power production it's highly reliable. 

Inverter components are the backbone of Solar PV Systems and unlike panels they are subject to greater wear and tear. But inverter manufacturers provide 10 Year warantess and extented coverage is available for 20 and 25 Years to assure reliable long term performance.  

Production Guarantees & Reliability 

Solar Panel equipment manufacturers guarantee that production declines will not exceed one-half percent anually over 20 Years. Actual lifetime performance typically exceeds this.   

If a production shortfall is attributable to abnormally poor weather conditions, a documentable discrepancy will be apparent between NREL weather data used for production modelling and actual weather conditions during a particular production period. Conversely, better than projected weather conditions would produce a surplus in production. 

The financial and production modeling tools used by Greenleaf are considered the industry gold standard and production calculations are based on levelized 20 year weather conditions. More information about the solar production modelling process can be provided upon request.     

Roof Integrity & Warantees  

Solar arrays are proven to extend roof life by protecting roof surfaces against exposure to solar radiant damage.

Most commercial solar systems on flat roofs are mounted with ballasted racking systems that do not require any penetrations to roof surfaces. If penetrations are required, unconditional warrantees are provided against damage or leakage.

If roof repairs unrelated to solar installations are ever needed during the lifetime of the solar system, panels can be easily removed for immediate access to roof surfaces. Designs also provide easy access to all roof mounted mechanical systems for maintenance, repair, or replacement.  

Roof Warranties remain in full force and effect with written affirmations from OEM roof manufacturers.  

Stable Secure Income

The basic financial benefits of solar investment come from a combination of the following: 

• Federal Tax Incentives.
• Energy Savings from Net Metering and related Utility Program incentives. 
• Revenue from contacturally guaranteed payments from the Utility for energy sold back to grid.
